Hence we at Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad Nursing School have pledged to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives at basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative service and to prepare nurse who can make independent decision in nursing situations at National & International level!

Objectives:

The School of nursing endeavors to develop a nurse:

1. Professionally competent in meeting the nursing needs of the individual in the hospital and the community for care during illness and improvement of health.

2. Who is able to demonstrate competency in the skill and technique of nursing based on concepts and principle from selected areas of physical, biological and behavioral sciences.

3. Who is aware of the moral and ethical values and practices them in personal and professional life.

4. Who is a responsible processional nurse as an individual, as members of health them, and as contributing member of society.

5. Who is efficient in teaching to nursing students as well as providing direct patient care.

6. Who is capable desirous of seeking opportunities for continuous growth as a person of health them member and responsible citizen of the nation.
